Real Estate: A Love Letter
We’ve been together for a long time and our future is forever. A life without you would be severely unimproved. You always hold my attention, you’re never boring–that is for sure. Some days you’re bright and cheery and others you’re blue, but everyday I’m the someone for you. You’ve got curves in all the right places and brick where it counts. Your eyes are truly the windows to your soul and for that extra light, I am always grateful. An open door and a warm hearth are your modus operandi. Some days you smell better than others, but I can always forgive that with just a little fragrance (or if it’s really bad, a respirator mask.)
There’s something about you I just can’t shake, even when you’re crumbling and need some makeup, you’re still beautiful. Sometimes you’re simple and sometimes you’re all gussied up, but you’re always keeping me on my toes. I love seeing you in a fresh outfit, especially if it is crisp grey with white trim and I love those glossy edges. Your electricity is hot and you keep your gas to yourself (mostly). You make it easy to love you. Some days you’re an old soul and some days you’re a newborn, but everyday you make me crack a smile. You always keep in tune with the changing of the seasons and keep me warm when it’s cool and cool when it’s warm. Without you, I’d surely be lost; but with GPS, I can always find you.
