November 11- Storytime @ The Palestine Public Library – 10:00 am – Bring the kiddos and enjoy storytime at the Library!
November 14-December 30 – Polar Express at the Texas State Railroad – Read along with the story as the historic steam strain makes its magical journy from the Palestine Depot to the North Pole. Meet Santa and enjoy caroling, hot cocoa, a treat and a special gift for each child. More info and tickets at www.texasstaterr.com
November 13 – Book Club at the Palestine Library 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. The Book Club will be discussing One Thousand White Women: The Journals of May Dodd & The Wild Girl by Jim Fergus, Contact: Ana Sanchez 903-729-4121.
November 14 – December 30 – Texas State Railroad Society Musuem at the Carnegie Library – History Steams into downtown with the TSRR society. Marvel at model train displays, hands on exhibits, history, artifacts and train memorabila. – 502 N. Queen Street, Palestine
November 14-17: Mudaholic Convention @ River Run ATV Park, Jacksonville, TX. Bring your ATV, 4×4 trucks or offroad vehicles and enjoy offroading in the red dirt and mud pits on over 2,000 acres of land with scenic views of the Neches River!
November 14 – Polar Express PJ’s & Cookies at Granny Muffin Wines . Enjoy PJ’s & Cookies at Granny Muffin Wines, 301 W. Oak Street, Palestine.
November 15 – Palestine: Sugar Cane Squeeze @ Diamond B Ranch. Old fashion fun for the whole family!–Other activities include Horse powered square baler, Horse Plowing, a Wild West Show & Cowboy Mounted Shooting Competition. There will be food and merchandise vendors, Plus the Diamond B Ranch farm store will be open with Texas Tacos.  Diamond B Ranch, 11589 FM 321, Neches, Texas 75779 – $5 per person. Kids 12 and under FREE.
November 20 – The Hunger Games Premiere Event at Dogwood 6 Movie Theater! Enter the archery competition for a chance to win a Hunger Games prize pack! The first 45 guests in line to see the 8:00 pm showing of the film will receive a Hunger Games mini poster! 6:00- 8:00 pm
November 28-29- Grinch’s Lair at the Historic Anderson County Jail– He’s Mean, He’s Green & He’s in Palestine. The Grinch will take you on a tour of his home: His bedroom made of all beds, his kitchen & his bathroom. Characters from the beloved book are staged throughout.704 Ave A, Palestine. 903-373-8158
November 28 & 29 -Children’s Holiday Paint on Canvas @ 10:30 a.m. & 2:30 p.m,. (Drops in welcome, space limited – Ages 6-12. Cost is $35) at O’Sweet Pea – 105 W. Oak Street or call to reserve at 903-723-7321
Beginning November 29 – Santa’s Workshop  -Santa’s Workshop is an indoor Winter Wonderland filled with holiday  delights. Take photos with Santa by Lee Loveless Photography. Don’t forget to bring your Christmas wish list for Santa. 101 W. Oak Street, Palestine.
