To-Do List For Tomorrow: Montalba Fall Festival
The weather is cooling off and the summer is winding to a close. As much as I love summer, I am excited for the great events coming up this fall. If you’re looking for some good old-fashioned hometown fun and somewhere to bring the whole family, head out to the 2014 Montalba Fall Festival tomorrow! <3
The 2014 Montalba Fall Fest Parade ends at the Montalba Community Center. There will be a highly entertaining Pet Show, Children’s Carnival, Bounce House, White Elephant sale & much more.
Live entertainment begins at 10:30 a.m. and includes the Cherokee Cloggers, Rick Bond & others.
“Bring your lawn chairs, grab your barbeque ($10 a plate for adults), sit in the shade and enjoy”. –Well, that sounds like an awesome time to me!
There is also a Chocolate Pie contest & Men’s Baking Contest. Where do I sign up to be the judge of the pies? Haha!

Montalba Community Center is the festival hub. Montalba is located on Highway 19, about 20 miles from Palestine. To get to Montalba, drive on Highway 19 North towards Athens. Montalba is the first stoplight you come to after you leave Palestine and there will be signs out on the highway directing you to the festival.
