There's a hot new room that is high on buyer's want lists--the mud room! A mud room is a "catch-all" entry room that is very functional and can be decorated to the nines, too! Sometimes mud rooms are closed off and are separate rooms and sometimes they make a "room" out of previously dead space (like a hallway, walkway or entryway). Many houses have an existing space that could be converted to the "mud room" aesthetic. In an existing house, finding an unused space to transform into a mudroom is the most cost-effective way to get this look (and not have to remodel!).
