- May 28th, 2021- A Night at The Haunted Museum in Palestine, Texas-Friday at 7 PM CDT – 12 AM CDT and Saturday May 29th, 2021.Tickets: www.hauntedrooms.com/texas/ghost-hunts/haunted-museum-palestine-tx Full Exclusive Access to the Museum for an entire night of investigating with the Haunted Rooms America Team! Includes use of equipment, drinks & snacks, tour, and investigation! Over 100 years old, and housing thousands of historical artifacts, The Museum for East Texas Culture is believed to be one of the most haunted buildings in East Texas, and certainly one of the most haunted former schools in the entire state.
- May 29th, 2021- 90th Athens Old Fiddlers Reunion – Athens, TX. The longest running fiddle contest in Texas! Carnival, jam sessions, live music, street dances, food vendors, all ages fun! As always, Old Fiddlers is a FREE event! The Athens Old Fiddlers Contest and Reunion is known nationwide and (as far as we know), is the oldest such contest that has run continuously year after year in Texas at the Henderson County Courthouse Square in Athens, Texas.
- May 27th-30th 24th Annual Memorial Day Bluegrass Gospel Festival 2021-Salmon Lake Park Texas, Grapeland TX.Tickets- www.salmonlakepark.com. *Outdoor event so bring your lawn chair or blanket to sit on. - Jun 4 – Spring Carnival at Broadway Square Mall in Tyler, TX-OPEN DAILY. Weeknights: Open at 6 PM, Saturday & Sunday: Open at 1 PM. Free admission. Ride tickets sold on site.

- June 4th-6th: First Monday Trade Days In Canton, Tx – the biggest trade days around!
- June 4th, 2021- Pints In The Pines-Texas State Railroad, 6pm-9:30pm. Pints in the Pines is an adult-only event taking place onboard select Friday evening train rides. The excursion departs the Palestine, TX depot. This event will include a variety of local ales complemented by zesty beer snacks. Frothy favorites ranging from light, summery Kolsch and wheat-rich Hefeweizen to high-octane lagers and IPAs, from coppery-red Scotch ales to dark stouts and chocolate porters, these craft beers may have German roots. This special event, experienced solely onboard the train, is offered in either First Class, the Upper Dome Car, Presidential or even the privately-chartered Caboose. All beers sampled onboard the train, along with other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, will be available for purchase. The return excursion, featuring a final quaff of suds and dessert, allows ample time for all craft beer lovers to savor a full serving of their favorite brew, comparing notes and sharing stories with friends and loved ones. Anyone consuming alcohol aboard Texas State Railroad must be 21 years or older.

- June 5, 2021-Food Packaging Event For United Way – Palestine, TX. 10am. Join the United Way for the biggest volunteer event in Palestine. And the most fun too! We will be packaging 35,000 meals to stock our Anderson County food pantries this summer to ensure our children have enough food at home while out of school! Must pre-register for event.

- Jun 11 -Blueberry Bluegrass Concert in the Park -Nacogdoches, Texas- The Texas Blueberry Festival kicks off with the Blueberry Bluegrass Concert in the Park, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, June 12 at Festival Plaza in downtown Nacogdoches.
- June 11th-12th : Texas State Railroad Steam Train Rides- Palestine TX-From the moment your party steps on-board one of our beautifully refurbished train cars, they’ll feel like they’ve been transported to a simpler, more leisurely time where the distractions and of our modern world suddenly disappear. Breathe deep, enjoy a drink and relax as you lose yourself on a round-trip, four-hour, rail journey through the Piney Woods of East Texas where history is just part of the journey. Vintage steam and diesel locomotives take passengers across the celebrated rails of the Piney Woods Route between the quaint East Texas towns of Palestine and Rusk on a 50-mile roundtrip adventure. - July 9th and 10th – Canton Balloon Fest – Canton, TX. The Tailwind Regional Balloon Fest is back for its 10th year in a row and this year things are going to be bigger and better than ever.
