In June 2015, the Palestine Association of REALTORS® had the following activity in our area for Residential & Farm/ Ranch Properties (please note that this data does not include commercial properties, unimproved acreage or vacant lots and is for Palestine addresses ONLY):
- Total # of MLS Listings: 194 (This includes ONLY Residential & Farm/Ranch Properties with a Palestine, TX 75801 or 75803 Address)
- New Listings Added in June 2015: 51
- Total Properties Sold in June 2015: 34
- Average List Price: $154,127
- Average Sale Price: $152,750
- Properties under contract / pending sale as of June 30, 2015: 45
- List Price to Sales Price Average: 96.63% (this means that if the property listed at $100,000 the average final sales price was $96,630. Keep in mind this is an average and not typical for every sale.)
- Average Days on Market for Homes Sold in June was 122 Days
- Average Price Per Square Foot for Homes Sold in June 2015 was $78.40 per square foot with a Median of $74.50 per square foot

I was surprised to see the differences in June 2014 vs June 2015 Palestine, Texas real estate sales. These stats are for Residential & Farm/Ranch Properties with a Palestine TX address ONLY and do not include Acreage or Commercial Listings.
Highlights include:
- In June 2014, the average list price of homes sold was $142,109 and in June 2015 was $154,127.
- There were 12 more homes sold in June 2015 than in June 2014.
- June 2015 Average days on market to sell was 122 compared with 101 days in 2014.
- The price per square foot has gone from $74.03 in 2014 to $78.40 in 2015.
