5. Christmas Park Land of Lights– (Athens, TX)
This one is a bit of a drive, but worth it! Just outside of Athens, Texas, Christmas Park Land of Lights is a must-see. This drive-through display features over millions lights and even more holiday cheer. This family-friendly attraction is a local holiday favorite. Land of Lights is open from 6 pm till 10 pm every year starting November 10th through the 3rd of January. *CASH ONLY!*
It is located at Loop 7 and Patterson Road in the East Texas city of Athens. The park is more than 1 mile long and has over 4 million lights, including more than 60 different musical scenes and 50 motion-controlled lighted scenes in addition to 6 tunnels and 14 arches, and 2000 wood cutouts.
