I just got back from a long weekend trip to Ohio. My husband, my son and I went up to go to my Sister-in-Law’s wedding. We had some hectic travel plans. Our first flight from Tyler got cancelled and we ended up having to drive to DFW to catch a flight out to make it to the wedding in time. It was a crazy wild race against the clock with a 1 year old in tow! But, we made it! Whoo!! 😉
Imagine my surprise when we saw snow the first day we were there!….Well, color me TEXAN!! Haha! I thought it was hail, not gonna lie. The hotel clerk was really amused that I was outside looking at the snow in my flip flops (in my defense, I checked the weather before we left and it said it was in the 60s….I had no idea that Ohio’s version of 60 degrees is not the same as Texas 60’s..live and learn.) Lucky for this flip flop gal, the snow didn’t last and it didn’t stick.
The trip was fun and the wedding was beautiful, but I couldn’t have been more pleased once we got off the plane and that warm, moist Texas air hit my face. Ahh…sweet humidity, I missed you!! This Texas girl will forever a Texas girl be!
Without further blabbing, check out some of the highlights of our quick trip:
