History Of The Camellia House:
The historic neighborhood north of the city’s central business district contains a large percentage of houses that date from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This 1-story frame dwelling is a well-preserved example. It is classified as a modified L-plan house and displays Queen Anne stylistic features, including a wrap around front porch.. The property retains a significant amount of its integrity. The earliest known owners of this house were C.Roe Hall and his wife Harriett, Mr. Hall had a “farming office” in the Link Building downtown. The Waltons acquired the Hall House in 2004 and have preserved the historical characteristics.
