-Antique Yardsticks / Rulers :
Bear with me here…I know it sounds strange, but look at it! It is a great look and the price is definitely right! A little spunk is added with non-traditional materials but still has an overall traditional look for the kitchen.

-Beadboard Backsplash:
Get a great look for CHEAP! This kitchen backsplash was $30! Gorgeous!
-Barnboard Backsplash:
This look can go in several directions, depending on the wood you use. It can have a beachy, shabby chic or rustic/country feel. You could use: old fence wood, old barn wood, pallet wood, etc. The sky is the limit! This is a very hot look right now!
-Vinyl Backsplash:
Whether it’s vinyl peel ‘n stick tiles or a cut vinyl design, vinyl is a cheap alternative that can be easily changed out when you’re sick of it! With the at-home vinyl cutter craze (ie: Cricket), many folks now have a vinyl cutter. Put it to use! This is a great way to add a very trendy element that can easily be taken down when the trend is over!
A great tutorial on using peel and stick vinyl tiles as a backsplash from Mom 4 Real. If you don’t like the wood look, that’s ok, just find a peel n stick design you do like! Easy peasy!
Oh Em Gee!! How Cute is this backsplash!! It is made of cut vinyl applied to a painted wall! You can DIY or you can contact Landee on Etsy with your measurements for your kitchen! It is approximately $5.50 per square foot. Very trendy but so easy to take down, you can have those “of the moment” patterns! LOVE!
