Getting Tidy for the New Year – The Kitchen is a Catch-all for lots of junk!
My New Year’s resolution was to get more organized at my house and to get rid of as much clutter as I possibly can. So I have been looking around at inspiration and ideas for organizing different rooms of my house. I found several insanely clever and cheap ideas for kitchen organization. I think for most people (and definitely myself included), the kitchen is a place that is used all the time yet is also a place where stuff seems to collect quickly. Take a look through your cabinets and drawers–I bet you’ll find a whole bunch of junk that could go to the donation or garage sale pile! Years of one trick pony gadgets, chipped and mismatched dishes, the list could go on and on…My next project is going to be organizing my pantry and cleaning out my kitchen drawers. Wish me luck in 2015–the year of organization! At least, that is my intention! 😉
